Today, Apple released 10.5.3, so power up software update for on your real macs, and wait on your hacks!

Apple hasn't posted the update to their site yet, but it is available through Software Update.

It includes:

"a slew of minor adjustments, including fixes for AirPort and networking reliability issues, Time Machine and Time Capsule updates (including improved compatibility with Aperture), and improved Spaces usability." (engadget)

Along with fixes for Mail, iChat, iCal and AirPort.

Shout out on how it is working for you!

Haven't tried this one yet on the hack, but according to Netkas, the procedure is the same as it was for 10.5.2. Here's his announcement: http://netkas.org/?p=65 and here's his rehashed tutorial page for installing it: http://netkas.org/?p=50 (it's the same tutorial from 10.5.2, just with a new title). Should be fine for those of us running vanilla kernel, but those with a hacked kernel probably want to wait for some more news.

wait I'm confused... some ppl say software update works (http://osx86install.blogspot.com/2008/05/hackintosh-safe-update-to-1053.html) but others don't... will it work if I have a vanilla kernel (PC EFI v8+Kalyway 10.5.1+KalywayUpdCombo10.5.2.pkg) and install via software update?
