jawadams
Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 FT3 - Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, X3100 graphics. I have everything working except wireless and a couple audio issues (no mic, headphones) but the biggest problem is the sleep. Until recently the sleep really messed up my laptop, but I changed the hibernate mode to 0 using pmset and it works good, except that it only sleep when I tell it to sleep. In my power management settings I set it to sleep after 5 minutes, but all it does is turn of the display. . I have the updated Power managament package for laptops as well. Any help? EDIT: Well I got it to sleep using NMS sleep assist. It is made for Tiger and gives a scripting error when running the actual utility, but it works, so that is good. No errors while running the service, just configuring. wahwahman89
Speaking from memory here, check out /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/powermanagement.plist or /Library/Preferences/powermanagement.plist I can't remember anymore. Try and have a look whether you can tweak something there which helps. Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107102-sleep-works-only-when-telling-it-to-sleep/#findComment-760486 Share on other sites
