Not sure if there is another way but I used Spark to solve some keymapping issues.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried this but this for shortcuts rather than remapping keys as far as I can see. Thanks Though.

 

 

not sure if input remapper would do the trick but give it a try. Also can you please respond back here with an update for whatever solution works. I'm curious myself.

Thanks for the suggestion, I took alook at this, but its just a pre-set group of changes, non which would help me. I am still looking for a solution and I will of course post it here if I find anything :)

 

In the mean time, if anyone else has anymore ideas I would be very grateful, thanks.

I did some tests and you can use spark with some keys to emulate the backspace. I have create 2 keystrokes:

 

Numlock (witch is not very usable in your case)

and shift+minus that emulates the backspace.
