Lokii
Hello! Ive now been testing Leopard for a month, and love it. However, Vista x64 is still the solution I fancy the most, and therefore, I would like to somehow delete the Leopard partition, and merge the formatted partition with my primary Vista NTFS partition. What is the safest and best way to do this? Cheers! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107043-delete-and-merge-osx-partition/ Share on other sites
Gujal
PartitionMagic can grow NTFS partition. Possibly delete HFS Partitition too. If not delete HFS partition by booting Leo DVD and then go for Partition magic. PS: This question should be in a Windows forum. not on a OSX86 Forum! Tre W
i agree with Gujal, however partitionmagic is know to have compativility problems with vista. what works best would be to open your start menu, right click computer and select manage. once in the computer management menu, click disk management. it should show you your drives and partitions. hopefully your OS X partition is to the far right, meaning it can be merged. if not, you WILL require a program, though i think partitionmagic won't work right. ok! right click your OS X partition and delete it. the space will then become "unallocated again" if it's to the right of your vista partition, from there, you can right click your vista partition and choose to "extend partition". it will use up the unallocated space from there. hope that helped Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107043-delete-and-merge-osx-partition/#findComment-764228 Share on other sites
