haggen Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 I rewrote this topic. After many hours of research I found out what could be screwing the OS startup. NVDANV10Hal.kext always got a link/load error, so I tried to use NVDANV20Hal.kext with no edits and seems to load. forcedeth.kext loads, but hangs after some initialization messages. I tried to disable my onboard network device with no luck. I reinstalled my OS many times, with and without Titan NVIDIA extensions. I'm still in doubt if it is the video or network that is stucking me. I really appreciate any help. OSX86 wiki page says JaS Tiger 10.4.8 fully works with K8N+AMD. Thanks in advance and sorry for poor english. =/ SOLVED It was video kexts. They were screwing the bootup. I just removed all the NVDANV* kexts from extensions directory.
