I had a fairly smooth installation with leo4allv2 on my asus maximus formula.

I didn't have to select any extra drivers from the installer, I choose the 9.2.2 offical kernel and it works fine.

Sleep, restart and shutdown work fine, as do the marvell giga ethernet ports. All 4 cores are also detected.

Firewire is detected and may work for trivial purposes but I found I needed to invest in a pci firewire card wih texas instruments chipset to drive my firewire soundcard with out sound drop outs and lots of nasty lag.

Bios settings as normal for vista, ahci on, I haven't tried turning speed step back on since the install but will update the thread when I do.

I also have the j micron controller disabled as I'm not using any ide drives. I found I could not boot the install DVD from this controller and used my external USB DVD burner.

The rest of the system is as follows;

Q6600, 4GB 800Mhz DDR2, ATI X1900XT, Edirol FA-66.

My Last geekbench 4684

Hope the info helps.

I have recently installed Leo4Allv3 on an Asus P5E motherboard with no issues at all other than no microphone input. No matter cause I never use a microphone. :)

Motherboard: Asus P5E

Processor: Intel Q6600

Graphic Card: Evga 8800 GTS 320mb (Nvinject 2.1)

Ram: 4gb Gskill DDR2 800

Hard Drive: Seagat 500gb

Sound: onboard (works out of the box)

Network: onboard (works out of the box)

Been running on the Gigabyte EX38-DS4 for what, like a month now? Rock solid, cool, quiet, OCs great, fast as all hell, restart works great, shutdown sometimes you need to hit the power button after but it varies, sleep works fine in SSE1, SSE3 makes it shut off. Haven't tried any fixes for those, just want to keep it vanilla. Sound works great, firewire great, SATA, IDE, both great. No kernel panics.
