camaro Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 i downloaded thru BT Mac OSX86 10.4.4 install dvd which had a .rar that i unzipped to an iso. i thought it was bootable. didnt work. i just then downloaded mac osx 10.4.3 8f111a patches by JaS v4.2b.iso. that didnt work either, both give me the apple logo then after a bit i just see the circle with diagonal line. when i tried the install -v, it said something like waiting for root device. over and over and over. its an HP ze2309nr laptop here are the spec i found from the amd site. Mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ Albany Socket 754 90 nm MMX, Extended MMX, 3DNow!, Extended 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 1591.8 MHz x 8.0 199.0 MHz Can some one please help me? Please? I've got the eXact same error right after the AppleGenericPCATADriver... What do you mean for Not Supported drive? the Actual HDD itself? or it is the bios? does it mean if I get a newer HDD it "Should" work?
