Ryantbarnes Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Well i have to say that i never thought this would work. but i have successfully installed the 10.4.3 8f1111a DVD version on the laptop (compaq presario 1516US) with the "easy install 10.4.3 8f1111a" and it works. the only problem i have right now is i have no sound. the speed is incredable. and i am sure it could be faster. we all know osx is a ram eater so. probably a good idea for at least 1 gig. I don't know how Apple gets away with 512 for their base platforms...
