anggajaya
Halo guys, I wanna ask whether there is any software on MAC that is capable of doing this... I Currently Just finished digitizing my video tapes and the size of each file is 9 gb which all actually is 8 video files. I was asked to burn those 4 files onto One dvd which I think it's quite impossible to be done right? I tried to use the final cut pro by using the quick time conversion, and the format is H264, but then the outcome file is still 3.5 gb, and even the format is video sorenson 3, it will be still 2.44 gb... and If I want to burn all as in data by using toast titanium, still can not right? my boss wants the quality still good.... any suggestions guys? ur help is much appreciated. Synaesthesia
iDVD can author DVD's, that is, make DVDs that work in any DVD player. You can make menus and everything. However you are limited to 2 hours per single layer dvd. Otherwise if you don't need it to be playable on a regular DVD player, use video compression software, such as Handbrake. chris2k
my boss wants the quality still good.... Tell your boss to buy you a bluray burner. Now seriously, H264 is a good start, just make sure your boss can do something with this format. If he wants to play it on his dvd-player, it might not work. There are bitrate calculators for video encoding, that way you can calculate quality/size ratio. With H264 you will get best results but it will also take most time at encoding. lord_muad_dib
if you want quality you should start with uncompressed material when you compress then change kind of compression you you lose quality, no metter what compression you use to recompress the movie
DrDeelay
Does it have to be a Video-DVD, or just a DVD with Movie-Files on it? Just get a 9Gig DVD, that should do the Trick Fastest program I know is Visualhub for converting anything into everything else..... converts, creates a Standard-DVD and burns it out of a 2hour MP4-File in about 20 Minutes. regards, DrDeelay!
