rimmi2002 Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 Hi I have the following setup with the Kalyway Leopard 10.5.2 DVD Intel Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8 DVD install. Mobo: Gigabyte DS3L Mobo with Intel E6850 Proc Mem: 4Gb Video: 8600gt Everything works so far. My mouse and keyboard connected to the usb connection work, however when I plugged my USB sandisk flash drive is was not recognized and neither was my IPOD. I thought of all things Leopard would automatically recognize the Ipod. Is there a reason for this. Seems like all data oriented USB items are not working. Any work arounds for this. MapleAltar Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 rimmi2002, I encountered the same problem. Also Kalyway 10.5.2. I figured it was the driver for NForce chipset. But since you are using a Intel chipset, P35 or P31, it seems not to be the case. How about other versions, say, Leo4all or Zephyroth? Schweppes Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 rimmi2002, if you are using 9.2.0 kernel you have to use 9.2.0 System.kext...if you are using 9.2.2 kernel, then you have to use 9.2.2 System.kext...this will fix your problem. I was fortunate enough that my USB is working, but only as USB 1.1 12mb/sec just isn't enough Please let me know if you encounter same problem if you get your ports working..
