OSX86 on a real MAC

The only difference with osx x86 and normal os x is that osx x86 installers install the old darwin bootloader instead of blessing the efi bootloader, and inject some aes decryption routines. So you can, but why the {censored} would you want to do that?

lol, cause my friend asked me to "repair" his laptop and he lost his osx cd or dvd what ever it is... and i just have the OSX86... so yeah thats why i wanna do that... thank you but... i dont know what'S a darwin bootloader or the efi thing and aes decryption routines... if u can tell me more about that i would appriciate im interested... and im new in this so... i dont understand anything lol

IN all honesty, if you are going to go through the trouble of torrenting a OS X dvd (I would suggest Leo4allv3) than you might as well hunt down the official DVD and torrent that. It would do the same thing as long as you had the actual Mac, and would be cleaner. Just my humble opinion.

Have your friend call Apple. They will send him the OS X DVDs free of charge.
