(System: P4 3,06 GHz 1GB RAM)

I'm attempting to install OSX86 10.4.3 from DVD. I used to run XP only (1 partition). Since I want a dual-boot system, I resized my XP-partition (NTFS) using PartitionMagic and made it 12 GB smaller. Then I created a second partition of 12 GB on which to install OSX86. This is my problem:

When I'm in the Install program->Disk Utilities (to format my 2:nd partition to Mac-format), I can only see my first (XP-NTFS) partition. Partition 2 doesn't show. Any ideas why? You're not supposed to need 2 harddisks for dual-boot according to what I've read.

I tried having partition 2 "without filesystem", as FAT32 and as NTFS. Either way, it won't show. Do I have to convert my XP-NTFS partition to FAT32 to see the second partition? My 2:nd partition is marked as Active (boot partition).

Please help! (I've tried searching for this but I didn't find an answer).

This is because you need to prep the 12GB partition as type = AF, so OS X can see it, and format it as HFS+...

There are many methods to do this, but the easiest is probably to do it in XP, as described in this wiki page. :D
