Moduliz0r Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Hi, I've got OSx86 running, but without graphics drivers. I'm running with a GeForce 8600GT which has 256MB of memory. My OSX86 version is 10.4.8 (from the JaS install) and I've seen a few installers which all seem to be for 10.5.2. What do I need to use to get my card working in OSX86? Thanks! I'm not 100% sure but the other poster was trying to tell you that its much easier to get it to work in leopard. The leopard drivers are probably more mature than the tiger drivers. You would probably need 10.4.9 to get it to work. WOW, then I have to download 10.5.2 as well, I am run 10.5.1 now, but 100% sure didn't get my 8600GT 256M working. Tks, go for 10.5.2 then. sg Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 you need 10.5.2 and the graphics update that comes after you install 10.5.2. after that its usually just a matter of getting nvinject or nvkush and the card will be fully detected.
