popophobia Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Hi all, I installed the Azalia Patch for HD audio a while back for my laptop HD 1984 sound card but could not get any output. Only the volume changer works. Recently, I pulled my AC adapter out while playing a song (no output of course) and there was a short burst of sound output (same as the song playing) for about .5 seconds. This event is reproducible everytime when I plug/unplug the AC adapter. What does it tell me about my IO for sound card? Would it help for making the kext for HD 1984? Thank you.
