Can't find this information b/c it doesn't work for me. The massive compilation guide starts after you actually get osx working.

This easy install business is anything but for me. My goal is to install vista and leopard on my m1330.

It has: 2.2ghz santa rosa, 2 gb ram, nvidia 8400gs, truemobile wlan....

Please take me from the beginning with a blank hard disk:

1. How to partition the hard drive: use disk utility within the mac installation disk OR diskpart in Vista.. what to type, what to set active, etc...

2. What image to use: iAtkos v1.0, r2, r3? Kalyway?--I think this is a major issue. iAtkos r3 does nothing for me. Am I wrong to think that the latest disc should be the most compatible and least buggy?

3. What options to enable--VGA? Kext? darwin bootloader? These are all options that you are allowed to customize--another major issue for me

4. Please take it step by step.

5. Enable /disable ATA/ACHI in the bios?

1. Ok, get a separate HD, and in vista's disk management, right click the partition if it is partitioned already, and delete it. It should show as unallocated.

2. Boot Into the Mac disk thing and go into disk utility

3. Select the HD from the Side Menu

4. Go into the partition tab. Click options, and make sure "MBR" is ticked already

5. Format it as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)"

5. When it is formatted, "X" out of Disk Utility

6. Select the Partition you made from that 'Partition Select' menu

7. When it takes you to a screen opting you to install, click customize.

8. If your processor is an intel core2duo or an AMD processor, install the "Darwin EFI Bootloader" If it is anything else, select the regular bootloader.

8a. If you installed the "Darwin EFI Bootloader" Install "SSE2 and SSE3" patches in the patches tree

9. Install.

If you are dual-booting, follow this from my other guide:

Step 11.:Booted in vista, copy the chain0 file from the iAtkos DVD into your vista partition. I copied it to "C:\"

Step 12.:Boot into vista and open Command Prompt as Administrator

Step 13.:Run these commands below. Take note that the first one is literally {current} but the last one is the GUID that appears like "Current Sucessfully copied to {blah-blah-blah}

bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Mac OS X”

bcdedit /enum active

bcdedit /set {GUID} PATH \chain0

So, if when I typed in:

bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Mac OS X”

it would say :

"blah" sucessfully copied to (maybe) {7123-125g-11dd-91537}

Then my last one would be:

bcdedit /set {7123-125g-11dd-91537} PATH \chain0

Now, for QE and CI to work, you need to install the latest NVinject Drivers from:

http://rapidshare.com/files/100669894/NVInstallerV.41.pkg

Now you're all done.

If you have any questions on getting wireless, sound, etc. to work. I will most likely not know what to do.
