Hi, any help is appreciated.

My friend enjoys the Mac Operating Systen, but hates their computers and he bought a family pack of leopard so I told him that OS X can be put on a PC.

I let him borrow my Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel_AMD disc and so far everything works pretty well.

Except for one major issue.

Every time a USB storage device is plugged in, the USB ports freeze and I think computer is still running, but the USB ports just get shutoff  WEIRD.

Anyway if anybody has a solution, please let me know. I have been with the OSx86 community for 2 years and never have I gotten this problem.

It sucks. :thumbsdown_anim:

LAN is also disfunctional, I did install forcedeth but I guess it did not work.

So here are the specs:

XFX nForce 680i LT SLI (not in SLI mode)

nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB (working, its a native card to OS X :P)

Integrated Audio (Working with a 885 patch from the install disc)

LAN not working ( :( )

CPU Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66GHz

2x2GB of OCZ DDR2 RAM

800 Watt PSU by Ultra

Ultra Gladiator Case (Mid-ATX)

never mind i got the usb working, but the LAN is still not working. Its not a dual ethernet though.
