DesiMaster
Please post any suggested install methods/disks for any of the following PC's. I have had some success in the past thanks to this forum, but none of my installs have been working recently: PC 1: Celeron D 320 2.4ghz [sSE3] 845gv-m3 motherboard [845gv chipset] 512mb RAM IDE hard drive Past worked installs on this PC : JAS 10.4.8 SSE3 Intel Only, Kalyway 10.4.10 SSE3 HPET ( what does HPET mean anyway?), KalyWay 10.5 9a527 SSE3 HPET PC 2: Pentium 4 2.66ghz [sSE2] p4v8x-mx motherboard [ VIA P4M800] 1 gb RAM SATA hard drive No past intalls have even booted, as soon as the CD boots and I choose the startup options, the CD loads few files and restarts. I know this is due to some BIOS setting or another, but I haven't figured out what. PC 3: Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4ghz [sSE3 , HCL says that it works with Vanilla] ECS 671t-m [siS® 671 & 968 ___ South Bridge: SiS 968,North Bridge: SiS® 671] 2gb RAM IDE hard drive have only tried Kalyway10.5.1 DVD with "/com.boot.plist missing" or something error on boot from hard drive. No Previous Disk has booted up, I get a restart problem again. Those are my only viable options and therefore please suggest anything you can regarding any of this hardware. Thank you in advance.
