I get that strange problem with the sleep/wake feature on my Laptop hackintosh. The sleep (Energy Saver) when I set it up for a the whole computer certain amount of time (ie 5min, equal with display sleep), the monitor only would sleep, but the computer itself wont go to sleep. Just the display will do. And when it does, the display will never come back when I touch mouse, press the power button etc. I am basicaly cooked if I do this because I will have often to reboot.

The thing is, the computer is taking about a couple of minutes to enter in real sleep. So if I wait few minutes after the screen shutdown, the computer will enter into real sleep and then I will be able to exit the sleep mode and have my display turned on and back to normal and such.

The real problem I have is the display shutdown. For one because it doesn't work properly if I try to wake up and two, because even if I equalize it with the computer sleep, there will be about a minute of delay before the computer enter into sleep.

I have tried all the kernels and tried the two late nvinject drivers.

Sooo, I want to know if there's a workaround about the display sleep problem.

Or, maybe I want to make a workaround, like instead of having the display shut down a minute before the computer goes to sleep, to enter manually the time when the display will goes out... Any ideas?
