I've been hanging out in one of the Mac computer labs on campus here lately (go there to type papers and such because they all have the 23" cinema displays) and I absolutely fell in love with the keyboard.

So I went and got one because I was really looking for a usb hub but i figured I'd get this and have both a keyboard I love and the usb ports to boot.

So I got it and I would really like for the volume control buttons to work. As of now, the mute button does but nothing else does. And maybe the ejecet button too, not necessary but it would be cool if it worked.

so if anyone knows of a way to map these keys in XP that would be great.

There is a way to do it, though I've never tried it. This site ought to help you. At the bottom of that site one of the readers posted a link to this site where you'll find an app that's specifically designed to remap the keys on an Apple Pro Keyboard - it'll even make the eject key work. And you're right, these keyboards are awesome. Sleek and sexy, compact, nice feel, and it's got a USB hub built right in. It was love at first site. (I wish I could say the same for Apple's mice :P)

as it turns out, the volume buttons already worked I just didnt realize it because the volume bars on the screen werent changing.

I used the program in the link and now the eject button works...sweet

I then downloaded another program called sharp keys and mapped some itunes functions (play/pause, forward, back) to the f14,15, and 16 keys

I'm going to play around wiht this some more tomarrow
