JonZ
I got grub and boot_v8 successfully communicate with each others partition. Just the thing I don't like is the additionnal countdown (2sec) when selecting OSX in grub. Any way to get rid of that and jump directly in Darwin? TIA

Its actually quite useful. Before installing upgrades from software update, I dd my partition to my external hdd. Then if I want to boot the old system to fix something, I enter 82 (for 3rd hdd) to boot off my backup.
