Hi guys,

I tried to install Leopard on my new PC.

HW:

Asus P5k-SE

Core 2 Duo E8200

8800gts 512mb

2gb Ram

Maxtor IDE hdd

Teac IDE dvd

Everytime I boot up the DVD i get "Still waiting for root device"

I've read many threads about the board, but didn't find a solution

I can start up the DVD using a USB to IDE converter without any errors but he doesnt detect the IDE hdd...

Is there anything to try?

Maybe instlal flat image and use this Converter and get IDE working...Is this possible?
