d11wtq
Hi, I don't have another disk to "restore" my 6.0GB filesystem to, but the partition the 6.0GB HFS+ filesystem is on is 14GB in size. I want to expand my HFS+ partition to use all of that 14GB. Can I just select source and destination disk as the same? I'm also currently running OS X from this partition.. This sounds so hopelessly dangerous I'm hoping it would warn me if it's that dangerous. jbjonas
Be careful - it is very easy to screw up your partitions doing things like this. I don't think that what you are doing will work, however. I don't think disk utility can resize partitions without erasing them first, and I definitely don't think it will be able to do anything from the boot partition it is running on... Search the forums, there are lots of posts about this topic.
