So you mean a P35 based Asus, Abit, or the DFI P35 based board I just built around aren't excellent at overclocking? Strange... I could swear I had E8400 at 4.1 Ghz on air. Must be a hallucination. Personally I'll wait until those new boards have the bugs worked out and DDR3 is actually affordable. :(

Point taken, but I never said those boards were not good at overclocking.

From what I've read, someone else got the Gigabyte EX-48-DS5 working great except LAN, even though it's the same chipset (I think) as mine, which is working like a charm (and OC's like a bat outta hell too).

 

It's so expensive though, and for so very small a difference... You might as well buy an X38 mobo and save the extra coin to buy a better mobo later on.
