Boot Camp
I'm sick of these old chipsets that work so well with Osx86, I'm hoping to find a brand new mobo with DDR3, Intel X48 Chipset and excellent at OCing. And of course, fully compatible. Anyone know of any? vaporATX
So you mean a P35 based Asus, Abit, or the DFI P35 based board I just built around aren't excellent at overclocking? Strange... I could swear I had E8400 at 4.1 Ghz on air. Must be a hallucination. Personally I'll wait until those new boards have the bugs worked out and DDR3 is actually affordable. Point taken, but I never said those boards were not good at overclocking. knewsom
From what I've read, someone else got the Gigabyte EX-48-DS5 working great except LAN, even though it's the same chipset (I think) as mine, which is working like a charm (and OC's like a bat outta hell too). It's so expensive though, and for so very small a difference... You might as well buy an X38 mobo and save the extra coin to buy a better mobo later on.
