hi, i everyone, i have a problem with booting macos, all the installation goes perfectly fine, no errors, but when it asks me to restart and i do it, right after firewire detection it goes with the message "still waiting for root device".

i went to the wiki and it says my motherboard (GA-965P-DQ6) is supported

i'm trying to install it on a 80Gb segate SATA HD

my specs:

GA-965P-DQ6 motherboard (intel 965p chipset)

core 2 duo 6600 @ 2.4Ghz

2Gb RAM

nvidia 8800 320Mb (manufacturer gigabyte)

these are the basics, apart from this i've got an Mbox 2 pro connected via firewire and a SMC wireless usb card

i don't know where to start looking to fix this if someone could lend me a hand out i will truly apreciate it :glare:

greets

Problem solved
