hi there...

i need some help on installing the macOSX Leopard...

i got the BrazilMac_PatchedDVD, i have already burn the image, but i cannot installed it..

i got this message:

Firewire (OHCI) TI ID 8023 PCI now active, GUID 0090270001e52edf; max speed s400.

Extension "com.apple.driver.iTunesPhoneDriver" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0.

ERROR: Firewire unable to determine security mode; defaulting to full secure.

still waiting for root device

then i read on some articles mentioned that i have to disable my firewire through bios, i hv done so, but then i got this message:

Extension "com.apple.driver.iTunesPhoneDriver" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0.

still waiting for root device

is it the copy or what? please help... I'm quite new in this thing.. :(

thanks... :D

my spec:

Desktop

Prebuilt - no

Motherboard

Manufacturer: Intel Corporation

Model: DP35DP

Version:

Bios Version: DPP3510J.86A.0216.2007.0502.1916

Chipset: Intel

CPU

Model Number: Core 2 Quad Q6600

Recognised as: 2.40 Ghz

Memory/DDR:

DDR2 2048 MBytes

Video

Manufacturer: nVidia

Model: GeForce 8500GT

Bus Type: PCIe x16

Memory size: 512MB

HDD: Samsung 160GB SATA II

Samsung DVD RW SATA

misc hardware: integrated FireWire and soundcard

the error has nothing to do with firewire. Most it can do is add a 10 seconds delay on startup ( some people remove the firewire extensions for this reason). Can you boot with -x ?

Second of all why brazilmac and not leo4all v3 or kallyway 10.5.2 ? they are way better on driver support.
