I think it is finally a generous thing that these computer manufacturers are starting to let consumers have a choice of operating systems. Whether it be between two windows operating systems, or in dell's case, between ubuntu, and two operating systems. Plus there is the gPC with gOS, and apple personal computers that can run both os x and windows. Variety, competition, and consumer involvement is very good and only increases the the level of quality we consumers can expect in the coming years from the personal computer industry. TwiSteDCBloSsoM Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I love my Windows XP, Then again I use Linux more than anything most of the time for programming needs. To me Vista will be ok once it's got all the kinks fixed up. It took them a good while to fix the kinks in XP considering they recently released service pack 3 so they're still fixing things haha. The same can be said for vista I assume. I haven't had the pleasure of using a MAC yet but I really want to try one out.
