romey-rome
This happens whenever there's something graphic intensive running. Screen-savers, CineBench, Quicktime. It does this & locks up... Any ideas? 10.4.4 MSI 945g NEO-F (GMA950) Intel D 920 1 gig RAM...don't think anything else is relevant. romey-rome
I think I'm coming to the conclusion that this is a power shortage. I have an Antec 380W PS with 3 HDs, a CD-ROM, and an external USB powered HD. The higher I set my FSB, the more frequently this crash occurs. I already put on a bigger HSF, & put the RAM through several tests... Any thoughts? EqUaTe
Try removing your overclock. That's a symptom of an unstable OC, and also with power-shortages. Your PSU is probably struggling a bit, but remove your OC and you'll probably be fine. romey-rome
I didn't have it overclocked originally. I just started to OC so see if it would affect it at all. I have a Pentium 920 running @ stock settings & it is less frequent, but still happens.
