Extracht
Hello, I wanna disable the darwin bootloader from showing up at startup, so that the apple appears right after power on. Is there any way to do that? thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/103367-disable-darwin-bootloader-at-startup/ Share on other sites
Balto
Most likely you'll need the Darwin Bootloader to load up your system. If you're having a count-down setting, you can change it by navigating to: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist Use your text editor to open it and edit or add the lines: <key>Timeout</key> <string>1</string>[/font] Or change "1" to any second you like. Instead of using "0", delete the time out lines! Balto
I was afraid of that. Anyway, I've edited my earlier post. You had problems after updating to 10.5.2 from 10.5.1 from another thread right? I assume you had to reinstall? Updates are really risky, I have 10.5.2 but when I chose to install all the available updates, my system wouldn't boot and I had to reinstall! Balto
Same here, and it works fine. But if I were to install all including those mentioned above, my install wouldn't boot on restart.
