FireWire PCI Cards do not work with a Leo4All V3

Salut,

I've got two Hacks with a Conroe 945 (onboard GMA950/DVI). This Mobo does not have an internal FireWire port so I installed PCI FireWire Addon cards. With Tiger (up to 10.4.10) this worked great. After I installed Leo (10.5.2 Vanilla 9.2.2 from Leo4All V3) they seem not to work anymore. System Profiler says on one system that FireWire devices could not be listed. On the other system it says "max 400 MBit/s" but Leo does not recognize external hard drives anymore.

On the Leo4All install DVD I found the menu "remove all FireWire kexts". Is this a hint that PCI cards are not supported anymore in the Leo4All DVD?

(On my third system with an Intel board and a first 10.5.1 installation (now it's a 10.5.2 with vanilla 9.2.2 by system update) a PCI FireWire card runs perfectly...

Best

JL
