Hi everyone,

Recently I have been able to successfully burn Kalyway as well as Iatkos OS X (both Leopard 10.5.1) on a dvd. However, I always recieve 'System Config File '/com apple.Boot.Plist' Not found' and I know that this is due to my laptop's dvd reader. I know buying an external reader is an option, However I was also wondering if I could boot os x by the SD Card (move install files to card, etc.). Is it at all possible?

Thanks in advance! :)

your main problem will be that common to usb booting and similar ideas, namely getting the system to recognise the boot media as such.. getting to -s is probably doable, but after that, chances are you'll hit a root device error, diskarb problem, or even the same issue you have now with the DVD.

It *might* work, all depending on how your laptop connects to its card reader, and trying it might be interesting, but I'd say your chances are probably worse, & really no better than getting the DVD to boot.
