pogiboy
Hi everyone, Recently I have been able to successfully burn Kalyway as well as Iatkos OS X (both Leopard 10.5.1) on a dvd. However, I always recieve 'System Config File '/com apple.Boot.Plist' Not found' and I know that this is due to my laptop's dvd reader. I know buying an external reader is an option, However I was also wondering if I could boot os x by the SD Card (move install files to card, etc.). Is it at all possible? Thanks in advance! Hagar
your main problem will be that common to usb booting and similar ideas, namely getting the system to recognise the boot media as such.. getting to -s is probably doable, but after that, chances are you'll hit a root device error, diskarb problem, or even the same issue you have now with the DVD. It *might* work, all depending on how your laptop connects to its card reader, and trying it might be interesting, but I'd say your chances are probably worse, & really no better than getting the DVD to boot.
