GuitarSoloist Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Okay so i have an nvidia geforce fx 5200 agp 128 mb card and i want to run iMovie and Final Cut, but both require quartz extreme. When i load iMovie it says the following : iMovie needs a graphics card with quartz extreme. Now i want to know if this card does support quartz extreme. If it does how do i get the correct drivers/software for it to work. Right now i get my full display 1280x1024 i used palypis installer but on page the mediafire link that made it work. (MoC) Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Hello GuitarSoloist and welcome. That card is very well supported. Go download the most recent driver/kext from here (direct link) and install the file using this program (direct link). Just drag the file in the list of KextHelper (the program) and type in your password. After that push easy install and then reboot. The graphics should work.
