Ztardust
I´ve installed Netkas 9.2.0 Speedstep Kernel, which is AMD compatible. But I understand that to take advantage of the speedstep function, we have to use a program like the Speedstep.app. You can find the speedstep.app here: http://my.macdotnub.info/content/view/20/27/ I haven´t managed to get the speedstep.app to work. The acpicputhrottle.kext doesn´t load. Is there anyone here who has managed to get the AMD version of Speedstep to work on Leopard? Ztardust
Alright... I got it working now... I just installed the intel version of the speedstep package, using pacifier, and then replaced the acpicputhrottle.kext with the one made for AMD... it goes into startup items in the library. I also modified the plist in the acpicputhrottle.kext a bit, changing the version numbers of: com.apple.kpi.bsd com.apple.kpi.iokit com.apple.kpi.libkern from 8.4.1 to 9.2.0. But now I´m getting the slowmotion effect... I´ll take a better look at it tonight, now I have other things to do...
