nintendoguy Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 i wanted to make a poll about which is the best chipset to use with leopard. i have tried 2 965's, a 925, and an 875 or something like that. i cant remember. on the 2 965's the install was almost perfect. on both of them, i could not get into the installer using an ide drive, so you must use sata on both of them. i did not test the 925 with ide,but with sata i got the install done very easyly. USB did not work with the 925, so i only put XP on it. the 875 did not boot the installer with ide or sata. i think the 965 is the best because i have found no problems with it other then the ide.I am using kalyway 10.5.1 installer.
