Telefunken
I recently bought a pair of external HD enclosures fitted with both USB 2.0 and eSata connectors. I wish to use the eSata for backup (Time Machine) and file transfer. Are there any eSata cards on the market that work natively under OSX 10.5.2 and have the external Sata connector? Does anybody know of a front mounted (3,5" bay) multi-function device with an eSata port? Thanks.

Telefunken
That's seems a fairly old card to me. It doesn't have any external eSata ports. My Intel XBX2 motherboard does have an eSata connector, but it is on the RAID controller which is not supported natively. Hence my request for information on a PCIe card. Thanks. macbrush
Si 3132. BASE driver is fast and perfect, but RAID 5 doesn't work with PAE yet, i.e. no > 3GB RAM support.
