Mp3
Hi, I am new to installing osx. I want to try it out for a few months before I take the plunge and buy a mac. I am trying to install Leo4allv3 on my HP dv6607nr. I tried searching but could not find an answer to my problem, maybe there is no answer. I burned the DVD at a low speed and it checked out ok. When I boot up my laptop with the disk it goes through the loading process but stops at "Extension "com.apple.driver.itunesPhoneDriver..." then the next line it says "Still waiting for root device" and it will print the same thing about every two minutes. I looked in my bios and didn't see any relevant settings I could change. Any advice would be helpful. Specs: HP dv6607nr CPU: 1.7 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK53 Graphics: NVIDIA Wireless: Broadcom Memory: 1.5 GB HDD: 160 GB Optical: Super Multi 8X DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support Screen: 15.4” WXGA High Definition BrightView Widescreen (1280 x 800)
SticMAC™
So, you get it installed then get the error after reboot? If so, you must load the ICHx kext, I also got this now it works fine! eddie11c
You are probably using the nforce chipset that is not really supported. Device ID 055010de(AHCI) and 056010de(IDE). I am working on this issue, there is another thread here about it already.
