Alessandro17
I am prepared to spend time to make the setup work and I'm going to buy a system where most of the hardware would work right out of the box but once everything is setup the way it should be, is maintaining a hackintosh really a heavy task in itself as you say? Not at all. In fact it is so easy that it is boring. Provided that you use the right hardware, especially the motherboard. I bought a Bad Axe 2 (which I suppose is a bit old now) and I never had a problem. Sometimes you must wait for a new release to come out, as I did with Leopard: I waited for Kalyway 10.5.1 (which I compared with iATKOS V1.0i) Also, when Apple releases new updates, just wait until you are told if they are safe. tazevedo317
if your getting a big hard drive. split a part for time machine back ups. do a back up right before any update and then unmount the back up drive so it doesnt get updated. if you have a problem. you cna always just do a restore. Spol
Sounds smart, I have over 2TB internal, but I have an eSATA 400GB external drive to back up Leopard. I might use a different software to backup though.
