wcnghj Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Hello, I recently installed iAKTOS v1 on my Compaq c751nr with a Pentium D 1.6ghz(aka core duo) and I have a few problems. 1. My wireless card does not work at all, not even detected. 2. I have to have the iAKTOS DVD in the drive while booting, or I just get a Flashing __. I am only running OSX, not dual booting if that helps. 3. The CPU gets a little hotter than I would like, the fan comes on, but I think it gets way too hot. Hotter than with windows. wcnghj Posted April 27, 2008 Author Share Posted April 27, 2008 I have done a quick reading of this thread here for my laptop, I applied the wireless patch in terminal, rebooted, and it is not detected.
