digitallysick Posted February 25, 2006 Share Posted February 25, 2006 im trying to install it into vmware workstation, it installs as far as the greay screen with the apple then after a while a square comes up on the screen with a circle and line through it (like the no smoking sign) did i setup something wrong? when choosing to set it up, which os do i pick? linux? other? mallyone Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Try mounting the cd image in daemon tools, then mapping that drive to the cd drive in vmware (I have no idea why this worked, but it worked for me). Also hit f8 when booting and enter "-v" to see where it get hung. Then you could try "platform=x86pc" or just poke around and experiment. I've got it installed but it boots to a blank screen with no disk activity ...
