dang251
I have time machine working on a DNS-323 NAS and it backing up my main boot drive perfectly. however, I have about 100GB of pictures stored on a FAT32 formatted drive. When I try to delete the drive from the exclude backup list, I can't because it is greyed out and I can't choose the (-) minus sign. Any ideas on why some drives are greyed out? Can't Time Machine backup any drive? thanks, dan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101464-time-machine-does-not-backup-files-stored-on-fat32-drive/ Share on other sites
vaporATX
Time Machine can only backup HFS+ drives. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101464-time-machine-does-not-backup-files-stored-on-fat32-drive/#findComment-723846 Share on other sites
