Synthology
Greetings all, I recently lost about 200GB of data across 2 WD5000KS (Western Digital 500GB) Drives. I noticed that this occurred immediately after the required reboot upon updating Safari 3.1.1 I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem coincidently after updating Safari. My specs are in my sig. Perhaps someone can shed light on this. As I had allot of good work lost as a result of this. Good thing I backed up prior to the update and my laptop has exact identical files as my mobile workhorse. within 1 week, 2 WD5000KS drives failed. I am not sure if its OSX86 or the fact that I recently purchased a Cosmos 1000 Tower and mounted the hard drives on their side, as opposed to how they were mounted in my previous case. Any light on this would be most appreciated.
