Thanat0s
I've tried on a PC-DL asus motherboard with 2 Xeon 2.8 Family 15 Model 2 Steeping 5 natively and it crash fast after the startup. with a message Error: Extention Archive doesn't contain software for this computer's CPU Subtype Error: Couldn't unpack multi-extension archive and the crash... Is it the Famous 'Prestonia' Cpu incompatibility or is it another issue ( already tried with cputype and acpi , and within an vmware ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1011-panic-no-software-for-cpu-subtype/ Share on other sites

On my other systems it just goes right to the apple logo. but on the dual xeon pc-dl it just gives me text and loads up the crash reporter.
