Hey! Thanks for sharing this info. I currently have the performance version of the msi gx600 series. Your's I think is the ultimate version because of the blu ray drive.

I have also been tracking this guy's progress, http://reizencroft.wordpress.com/tag/hackintosh/

He has the basic model. Hopefully, I'll have the same success as you do.

Hey guys! I've already installed Mac OS X on my lappy (gx600) once and it run pretty well. It was installed on my external HDD connected via USB. Now, I wanted to install it again, but several problems appeared... First of all, I wanted to install iAtkos v7 - it is the same version, that worked before. I've formated externel HDD, installed system with right drivers and reboot.

The problem is, that system won't boot. Its stuck on "white apple screen" and there even isn't that rotating circle, which shows loading. I several reinstalled it with other kernels, but no succes.

After a few days I tried it again and voila, it worked! The first boot was really slow (about 10 minutes), but it booted. I've filled all forms and than, i wanted to reboot my lappy. Now, when I reboot it, it shows rotating circle, but nothing happens. Again tried reinstall, but the same problem. I don't know, what changed, because last time it worked...

Can anyone help me, please?

(Sorry for my bad English...)

I found out, where the problem is... Booting is stuck while loading FireWire. I've noticed, that when I was installing once iDeneb, there was possibility, to select FireWire remove fix. I'm pretty sure, that this would help me in iAtkos (I tried iDeneb, but there were more problems...). Can anyone tell me, how to install this fix on iAtkos? On install DVD there isn't such a thing...

I tried to install iAtkos and then put in DVD with iDeneb and install that fix, but it didn't find system at all. So, is there any possibility to put there that fix? If it is needed to copy some files direct to disk, I can do that from Linux.

I am not sure if booting osx86 in external drive is easy. I haven't tried it and have read it before that booting it in an external hard drive presents problems. And I think it don't make sense if you install osx86 on an external hard disk. Do you plan to boot it on another pc? Won't it just make it problematic since hardwares in each pc varies?

I am currently trying to install Snow Leopard but it keeps failing on me.
