I've got problems with kernel (something like com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin). Tried to load without ACPI (platform=x86pc), different kernels (speedstepkernel, etc) using the Kalyway's 10.5.2 DVD...

Intel GM965 chipset, Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2,2Ghz), ICH8-ME southbridge, nVidia 9500M GS...

Any chances to get Mac OS X working? I would like to try this OS. :)

I tried it with Ideneb 1.3 and unfortunately it didn't work. So i tried an external usb hdd, an set the Bios to Boot from it. And voila, it worked and suprisingly quiet good. My video card is also supported and sound is working. And now the problems, only one core is active, that's why i updated the bios to the newest version (209 i think) but nothing changed. I can boot the partition in vmware and if i type at the start up "cpus=2", it works. When i do the same with a native boot it crashes. So i think, the problem is the bios. I also searched in the forum for hacked one but i had no luck.

So, if anyone has a solution to get the second core working i would be very happy :( .

Oh i forgot, as i said, i can boot from the external usb hdd, but later i would prefer the internal hdd, perhaps there is already an answer to my question but i haven't found out.

ok, that's all from my site.

Thanks for your advice :D . I downloaded the modded Bios for my X55SV and updated successfully. Booth cores are working now, perfect. Furthermore I installed the kext-package for the M50SV (I think it's yours kmikase, i found it here in the forum, but can not remember where), the hardware equals the x55sv, so everything is working except the Wifi, but that's not the problem.

Now I would like to go a step further and want to try to install a Retail DVD, because i owned one, so why not taking it ;) .

I used the Boot 132 Creator (SLimbuildGUI) and burnt an iso, not only once. When I want to install Leo Retail I start with boot flag "-f -v", sometimes it boots longer, depends on the boot 132 I created, but always got errors and stops :D . I tried 5 different boot cds i created.

So my question is, is it possible to create a boot dvd for that laptop. Or is it only a dream to install the leopard retail dvd?

By the way, here is my selfmade boot 132, it doesn't work so far, but perhaps someone can have a look at it.

Thank you in advance for your help !

you need a modded bios to fix the issues. And i recommand you to use iDeneb 1.1 instead of the 1.3.

Pls.....can u put a link with a moded bios that works for x55SV-because that link doesn't work. I try to install iPC 10.5.6 and it restarts when the apple logo appear. Thanks in advance!
