nylock10
Hi, I was wondering, which card do I have a better chance of getting QI and CI on, a Powercolor X1800 XT Crossfire Edition 512MB video card or a Powercolor X1900 XT 512MB? I'll be running 10.4.3 (8f1111 I think). Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10062-radeon-x1800-512mb/ Share on other sites

munky
i have an X1800XL 256Mb PCI-E, and I get CI, QE and OpenGL so I'd guess the X1800 would be the one to go for, given the above statement. nylock10
Cool, thanks. I'll go with the x1800, what drivers should I use. Another plus switching to the x1800 is that it isn't as expensive Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10062-radeon-x1800-512mb/#findComment-63578 Share on other sites
Wayland
Cool, thanks. I'll go with the x1800, what drivers should I use. Another plus switching to the x1800 is that it isn't as expensive I'd go with Saphire x1800 256 DDR2 if PCI-E. Mine works great in 10.4.5 with 1600x1200 Full res support (BUT mouse tearing and no res changing. Honestly that doesn't bug me much... but still some) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10062-radeon-x1800-512mb/#findComment-64581 Share on other sites
nylock10
Well, I really would like a 512MB version (fine if it only registers at 256MB that is still a lot), plus I also would like to buy off Cyberpowersystem. Will the Powercolor be okay, or should I just buy a really cruddy one with the computer and buy the 512MB version seperate (I don't want to do that though)?
