danny_marti Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I have intel 965 RY, with E4320 Core2Duo processor,, sata dvd writer and harddisk as well... i still cant get osx installed in my system... its just struck at "BSD auditing present", and some times on "ACPI state S3"... I could see hat its using mach_kernel,,,, how do u go about replacing the kernel? where can i download the kernel? can any one pls help me? thank you... zAo Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 First try to change some ACPI and IDE/SATA settings in you bios. Be sure that both your CDROM and you Drive are MASTER. 'Be sure that both your CDROM and you Drive are MASTER."----> what does this mean? MASTER slave configurations are only for IDE right??? i have configured it in SATA port.... HDD in SATA0 and DVD drive in SATA1 i also tried HDD in SATA1 and DVD drive in SATA0 pls help me...
