Cheap Roc
I hate to be such a noob on a board (as I run around hacking Ruby all day), but I tried searching around looking for the right driver with no straight answer... so here we go. I have one of those ATI Radeon "7000", RV100 DDR's sitting around and I'd like to use it. I'm hoping for dual-monitor support but I could live without it. Hell, I can live with this NVidia that works natively, though rather limited. I'm slightly shocked that I had to use Kalway's 10.5.2 script to remove all the video drivers once I got Leopard loaded on this AMD... but none of his included drivers worked from the get-go with any of the cards I had laying around. But I digress... much appreciated for anyone's help (links work too)! -cheap- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100571-ati-radeon-rv100-ddr-7000/ Share on other sites

Cheap Roc
whats ur device ID for the ATI card?, and wat nVidia card do you have? and its ID? For the nVidia, using DPCIManager I get: 10de:00e0 nVidia Corporation NV11DDR [GeForce2 MX200] (32MB) The only way I could get Kelyway's 10.5.2 installed was to use this nVidia and run his script to remove all the Video h4xie kext's to a backup directory. Odd... No idea what the ATI card's have for device id's since they won't boot. No Windows machines to try (guess I could load linux to test them out). I've been using Linux for years, so I know my way around. But where could I find the device id's using linux cmd line? Hope this helps. thanks!
