TrYp MyNe
Hello all, I am using my setup that is in my sig. Currently, When i boot, it takes ages, around 7-11 minutes to boot. Its been that way for a while now ever since the first install of it. Even the reinstall did it too :S Now, just recently, the OS is really slow, its the kernel_task again running at 100%!!! I loaded 2 different kernels that i have loaded, one is 9.2 speedstep, and the other is 9.2 sleep kernel. The sleep used to be the only one that would run at 100% cpu on my hackintosh. Now, its the speedstep too :S idk what to do. So i have a slow booting os with a slow os. what can i do? please help. and btw, is there a 10.5.3 for amd's yet? would it fix the os problems i'm having, or what does it do? thnx in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100550-really-slow-boot-and-now-very-slow-os/ Share on other sites
TrYp MyNe
Edit: I installed the 9.2.2 kernel from ToH i think its ToH and it boots a tad faster, but the os is fully speeding, running the kernel_task at a mere 1-2% so i have about 95% idle the whole time. but can someone tell me why i still get slow boots from the specs i have below???
