hackintosh killed my LCD Monitor?

I have a Acer Al1916W 19' Widescreen Monitor.

I've posted this topic yesterday but then got deleted for unknown reason. :P

Here's the problem:

After installed LEO4All V2 with all the appropriate drivers including NVinject 0.2.1, My LCD cannot get resolution higher than 1024X768 in Vista. Also it recognized as "Generic Non-PnP Monitor" Before it was PnP. I tried uninstall reinstall the forceware drivers, clean registry, and such, no help. Resolution stuck at 1024X768. And everytime I bootup vista I need to unplug and replug my DVI port. Because it always says no signal.

In Leopard, everything works fine but my monitor recognized as "+cer Al1916W" instead of Acer.

Can anyone help me please? Thx

ok here's what I did.

I use my VGA port and a VGA to DVI adapter connects to my 8800GTS and I got my resolution back.

But I don't know if I can get in back in DVI mode.

I don't want VGA because everytime needs auto adject.

thanks for the reply cebep but I tried that already. I can't install it because that driver is only for xp. When I use the vga port it runs fine and able to get all resolution. but in DVI i can't exceed 1024X768.

I've heard that vista have this nasty EDID limited thing...
