cat /dev/zero
I ran the kalyway install before on my system, and got further than I have now, but didn't manage to document it... Here are a few notes of what I've done this time, but I am getting stuck at the grey apple logo (not any spinning wheels). HP Pavilion Elite m9040n Kalyway DVD 10.5.1 Used switches: cpus=1 -v -f -x -s Formatted HD Mac OS Extended (Journaled) name "Leopard" Size 128GB (could not go higher) Selected Vanilla_Kernel Vanilla_ACPI_fix AZALIA_out BOOT_efi_guid Install Skip disc check Restart on finish Configure AHCI mode on SATA controller Remove DVD (else 'Boot.plist' not found) Restart Stuck at grey apple screen (-v: 'using 15728 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers') Ideas?
