Hi,

I'm having problem using my onboard LAN in OSX 10.4.4 (greyed out) even though it's listed in the HCL

output of lspci under Linux:

...

0000:02:08.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82562EZ 10/100 Ethernet Controller (rev 02)

...

output of lspci -n:

...

0000:02:08.0 0200: 8086:1050 (rev 02)

...

it's on the board Gigabyte 8IPE1000

i think i have read somewhere on the forum that gigabyte users need to edit a kext to make it work, but couldn't find the instruction on either the forum or the wiki

i have all the kext's from 10.4.3

Thank you =)

i know this is an incredibly old thread, but i'm going to bring it back to life. i've got a working osX86 PC nowadays, thanks to Kalyway 10.5.2. however, i'm having the same problem that this person was having... my network card can't be found. i've got an "Intel 825xx 10/100 Platform LAN Connect Device" (according to the Dell support site). is there a solution to MY problem since i'm running such a new version of the OS? should i look for a IONetworkingFamily.kext for 10.5.2?
